Packing and Palletizing
Impact Automation has created a robotic solution to alleviate the bottle neck on a production line. Our solution handles box erecting, case packing, taping, labeling and palletizing. Impact Automation engineers leveraged the expertise and resources of our numerous suppliers to create a solution that combines robotics with hard automation to improve efficiency and maximize uptime.
Slide Dipping
Utilizing Epson’s compact, high speed 6 axis industrial robot, our engineers created a solution for the quality control department of a leading lubricants manufacturer. What was once a tedious, hands-on operation, is now a fully automated, reliable operation. The robot dips samples of product in various chemicals and hangs them to dry, leaving the operator free to focus on results and data collection, assuring rigid adherence to company standards.
TIG Welding
Partnering with Yaskawa Motoman, Impact Automation has created a robotic welding cell to TIG weld lead battery terminals. The solution replaces an old mechanical welding process, resulting in improved quality and consistency.
Polishing
Universal Robots and OnRobot create the perfect solution for this robotic sanding and polishing application. Paint imperfections are meticulously sanded away using multiple grits with the OnRobot end of arm tool and automated sanding disc changing station. An automatic tool changer allows hands-free changeover to the polishing tool, allowing the UR20 to buff the painted parts to a flawless finish.
