The AlphaStep AZ Series stepper motors offer high efficiency, low vibration and incorporates our newly developed Mechanical Absolute Encoder for absolute-type positioning without battery back-up or external sensors to buy. Closed loop performance without hunting or gain tuning. Available with a built-in controller or pulse input driver which substantially reduces heat generation from the motor through the use of high-efficiency technology. Requires AlphaStep AZ Series Driver.

AC Motors and Gear Motors

AC motors and gear motors include single-phase motors used with a single-phase AC power supply and three-phase motors used with a three-phase AC power supply. A single-phase motor can be operated by simply connecting it to a single-phase power supply via the supplied capacitor. A three-phase motor does not require a capacitor. All you need is to connect the motor directly to a three-phase AC power supply.

ISMD23E is a size 23 3-in-1 Integrated Stepper Motor + Drive + Controller package with network interface. It is a self-contained motion control product that is easy to install while delivering best-in-class performance at a competitive price. ISMD23E incorporates a Stepper motor + drive + controller into a single product that interfaces to the MicroSmart FC6A PLC over the Modbus TCP network. We’ve reduced total system costs and simplified installation because users only have to purchase one product versus a separate controller, drive, and motor. Plus, programming & configuration is streamlined because it uses user-defined macro instructions in WindLDR PLC programming software.
